Moab Sunset UTV Tours

A Moab sunset UTV tour brings the driving and the evening light together. Compare guided U-drive rides on Hell’s Revenge and Fins and Things, then choose the trail you want to see as the day winds down.

Find your adventure

Save the last light for the red rock.

Sunset gives a UTV outing a different sense of occasion. There is still rock to climb and a guide to follow, but the evening views become part of what you came for. On Hell’s Revenge, that can mean sandstone ridges and a river overlook in the same ride.

Choose the departure around the experience, not just the photograph. High Point’s three-hour Hell’s Revenge tour is priced per person. The Fins and Things option starts with a vehicle price for up to two. Both are guided self-drive outings, and both need an eligible driver.

Our sunset pick: High Point on Hell’s Revenge

High Point’s three-hour U-drive ride brings the trail and the sunset into one outing. You drive a Can-Am UTV behind the guide, with time on Hell’s Revenge and views across the red rock landscape. The 4.9/5 traveler rating and evening-focused reviews make it a strong starting point for this choice.

Helmets, goggles, bottled water, snacks and fees are included. Choose a four-seat Can-Am Commander or six-seat Can-Am Defender to share the evening with your group.

Driver and passenger ages

For High Point’s sunset tour, drivers must be 16 or older with a valid license. Passengers must be at least five. The Fins and Things alternative also requires an adult aged 18 or older in the vehicle with a driver aged 16+.

Price your actual group

High Point’s starting price is per person. Fins and Things starts at a group price for up to two. Larger vehicle configurations may have different totals.

Let the guide set the route

A sunset booking does not mean every part of a trail is open after dark. Fins and Things has a day-use restriction on its southern section. Follow the operator’s route and timing. See the county’s Fins and Things guidance.

Clothing and terrain

Wear closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring your driver’s license. Open-toed shoes are not allowed. Expect real rock crawling that may feel unnerving, even with a guide ahead.

Cancellation and timing

The lead tour offers a full refund for cancellation up to 24 hours in advance. Check your departure time and cancellation deadline when booking.

This was a thrilling excursion! Although we thought we knew what we signed up for, nothing could have prepared us for the adrenaline rush you experience on this tour. Kaleb our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. He also had some creative photography ideas and we got some amazing shots, especially the full moon rising over the La Sal mountains. Highly recommend this tour and Kaleb.

Ethan was a great guide and led us safely across crazy fins and rocks. This activity was one of our family’s top favorites from our trip to Arches, so I highly recommend. We did the 5:pm start time in March and it was perfect.
